    In depth

    Verdict

EIGHT MILE (NAP) had been a beaten favourite three times in succession before getting off the mark in a Lingfield handicap. A 3lb rise looks manageable and he can go in again. He'd been beaten less than two lengths by Landlordtothestars at Southwell earlier but Taylor Fisher's claim just about gives him the edge. Double Down went very close to losing his maiden tag at Kempton and is on the upgrade while Monophonic ran her best race to date at Dundalk in February and has joined Tony Coyle. Dabbous was engaged in the 5.05 at Chelmsford yesterday.
