Verdict
SUPREME QUEST has a 107-day absence to overcome but Roger Charlton's filly posted three respectable maiden efforts in the spring and it was good to see the yard return to form over the weekend. Dropping to the minimum trip looks a sensible move on the evidence of those previous runs and she's preferred to Lady Jameela who is tricky to assess. Some of her form would be good enough to score here but the Channon inmate has not always produced her best, such as when unplaced at Beverley last time and may not be as well suited to the trip as the selection. She is a significant danger at her best though. Verus Delicia made a pleasing introduction when runner-up to First Fast Now at Musselburgh and completes the shortlist.
