Verdict
Bella Haze's recent win has been let down badly by the second and it may pay to take a chance on FLUTTER BYE ahead of the penalised pair of Pelican Point and Gold Reef. The selection receives 7lb from Gold Reef, and a whopping 14lb from Pelican Point. Judged on her second to Charmaine Wood at Towcester in November, she looks sure to run well now returned to a similar trip and with the stable in good form she is nominated. Pelican Point is still a player despite her double penalty as she was not disgraced at Ayr on Valentine's Day behind Santia, whilst Gold Reef has a bit of work on as she was beaten behind Pelican Point last time although she has a 7lb pull in the weights this afternoon. Crow Spinney's saddle slipped last time so she had a fair excuse, whilst newcomer Spangle Island, a daughter of fair jumps sire Heron Island would be interesting with some market support. This could be a good opportunity for Flutter Bye to wave cheerio to her maiden status.
