In depth

Verdict

Mylo, Sorrento King, and Who Cares Wins are three against the field in another wide open affair and the vote goes to Mylo. The six-year-old from the Oneil yard was a fair fourth behind Terek last time that form has since been franked and off what looks a fair mark and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Sorrento King rates the main danger he improved through out last season but he may just need the run after a 362 day absence and his best form is over a slightly longer trip so for that reason he is opposed. Who Cares Wins is another worthy of respect he is well weighted on his best form and ran as if returning to form when fourth behind Imtihan last time the booking of Richard Johnson also catches the eye. Alfy Rich is another well weighted individual but he has had plenty of chances in similar contests without taking them and looks opposable on that basis. Maitre Levy may be on a fair mark for this his handicap debut. He is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of the remainder Rescator has conditions to suit but has never won over a trip this far before so for the winner we return to Mylo.
