Bumper winner Chiltern Hills started a short-priced favourite for her hurdling debut on this track but jumped moderately and was eventually well beaten. No doubt she'll improve markedly for the experience but the four-year-old fillies Mulleady and VIA DEL CORSO look the ones to beat. The former is progressing nicely and ran well behind Medicinal Compound at Roscommon but it's David Kelly's filly who gets the nod as she has won on the Flat since showing ability over timber in the spring and is on the upgrade. Mazagee and The Sweetest Thing are others to note in an open event.
