Verdict

Joseph O'Brien's horses are in unstoppable form and TALBOT can add to the recent glut of winners. He hasn't won since his debut at Lingfield two years ago but has dropped to a low mark as a consequence and only just failed to contain Derry Lad, who was receiving 13lb, over slightly further at Sligo. Church Mountain is an obvious threat after Daniel King rode him to an all-the-way victory at Limerick though a 10lb rise tempers enthusiasm. Alhaajeb couldn't handle soft ground at Cork after scoring at Gowran but Dane Fete should be losing his maiden tag soon after two placed efforts behind Silken Ladder.
