Verdict

Hugo 'n Taz looked to have a fair chance in the 5.00 at Kilbeggan yesterday and would have to be considered if taking his chance here. TOUCH BASE was tailed off in his opening run at Navan but showed the benefit of the run when beaten a head into third behind stable companion Monatomic on heavy going at Tramore. Gordon Elliott's charge has the scope to go on to better things and looks the one to beat whatever happens at Kilbeggan. Difficult Decision showed potential between the flags but was beaten a distance on his hurdling bow last month.
