Banoge is a paragon of consistency and handles the ground well. He was beaten here last time by a seemingly revitalised Ockey De Neulliac for which he is dropped 1lb. The Dobbin inmate seems sure to give another good account but the concession of 13lb to SAMMY SPIDERMAN may prove too much. All four career wins for the bottomweight have come at this venue, three on heavy ground, so there are no concerns on that score. Back to form with a couple of solid seconds after a six-week break, he can go one better than when runner-up to Allanard here last time. Quinder Spring and Filbert Fox are out of form at present which leaves Something Silver as the remaining option. He's thoroughly exposed but all his victories have come here too, although his last success was nearly two years ago.
