Verdict
BACKINTHESADDLE beat a big field of handicappers at Down Royal in December then ran really well off 4lb higher at Naas a couple of weeks later. He attracted good support at Gowran last time but weakened very quickly after a slight mistake and was well beaten. This is a poor handicap and he can get back to winning ways. Beaumont's Party hasn't won since Sedgefield in November 2015 and is only 2lb lower though he did show a bit more dash back there three weeks ago. Sky Full Of Stars was a decent third over fences a t Sedgefield and is 8lb lower over hurdles so should go well but Spring Over, who was also racing over fences when last seen almost a year ago, gained his only victory to date over three miles. Anitopia is yet another chaser reverting to the smaller obstacles and he ran poorly at Newcastle earlier this month.
