Nicky Henderson has won four of the last seven renewals so PYM has to be worthy of serious consideration, despite making his debut. From solid jumping stock, he’s a half-brother to three winning jumpers and was bought for 35,000 euros last year - he should have a future. Cap St Vincent is from a yard that has won this twice in the last nine years and is another interesting newcomer as all of his dam’s previous offspring have won at least twice. Winning pointer Manetti is also worth noting while the four previous winners have all shown a decent level of form, though carry 7lb extra. Aye Aye Charlie may be the pick of that quartet.
