      Tendentious won over a longer trip at Doncaster only to finish tailed off at York last time while Witham River also ran below par on the Knavesmire having finished third at Ripon earlier. GRACES QUEST is a more consistent sort and has been in the mix between winning at Musselburgh and Carlisle. An apprentice’s allowance helps her cause today and Jim Goldie’s yard is in fine form. Well Planted won on the Flat at Newcastle last year and has scored twice over hurdles since.
