Verdict

Painters Palette won at Wolverhampton on his first couple of outings for Rebecca Menzies but disappointed back on Turf at Ripon last time. Rory went close in Class 6 company here last week while Garden Oasis also faces a tougher task after finishing runner-up at Pontefract. HORTZADAR (NAP) was only beaten a head in this grade over course and distance last month and David O’Meara’s charge looks the one to side with given he was winning off a 9lb higher mark last season.
