Verdict
Richard Fahey won this race last year and we side with his option in this contest, BAHAMIAN SUNSET ahead of the progressive Jibaal and newcomer Prince Of Passion. The selection runs for a yard with a reasonable record here. Richard Fahey has an 18% strike rate with juveniles and turned out Lord Aeryn to win this maiden last year. Bahamian Sunset was a decent third on debut and wasn't far behind the victor at the finish as she kept on in the final furlong. She will have improved for that run and with that experience can take this race. Jibaal was also third last time out and has improved in his two starts so far. He is developing and more progression is expected here so he cannot be ruled out if he can build upon his last run out at this course and distance. Prince Of Passion debuts and his dam was a winner as a juvenile in North America so could be an interesting enough option for this race. However we side with the promising Bahamian Sunset to land the victory.
