In depth

Verdict

MOUNT SOUTH posted an improved effort on his handicap debut when third at Uttoxeter and there should be more to come from Ian Williams’ charge. Having A Barney finished ahead of Topkapi Star when placed at Wetherby but the latter was subsequently beaten a distance behind Musselburgh runner-up Misscarlett. Hungry Tiger and Limerick Leader were below par last time though both can figure off their current marks if back to their best.
