Rasharrow has a bright future and should outclass this lot, the best of whom appear to be Funny Times and Oddsmaker. Len Lungo thinks the world of Rasharrow, successful in two of his three bumper outings last term, his one defeat coming at the Cheltenham Festival where he was third to Missed That. He duly made a winning start to his career over hurdles at Kelso a fortnight ago, jumping like an old hand under Bruce Gibson who had done plenty of schooling on him at home. Tony Dobbin is back now though so takes over and should have an armchair ride. We know that the long galloping straight at the Scottish track suits the selection, and he can take another step to stardom by adding to his tally. Funny Times was useful herself last season, but was a bit disappointing on her final start when fifth in the Aintree Champion Bumper. Nevertheless she is expected to go on to better things, especially when sent over fences eventually. Oddsmaker turns out just three days after chasing home the highly rated L'Antartique ay Haydock, and if over those exertions should be on the premises again, although surely the best that he can hope for is a place, with Rasharrow booked for the winner's berth.
