KYPRIOS won four Group 1 races last year and will be sharper for a belated reappearance in last month’s Irish St Leger, a race he won last season. Trueshan, fresh from a victory in the Prix du Cadran, bids to win this contest for a remarkable fourth time in succession having beaten Sweet William and Coltrane in last month’s Doncaster Cup while the latter had the measure of Giavellotto in the Lonsdale Cup at York before that.
