GIFTED LEADER looks capable of getting his nose back in front in this handicap, while Dakiyah and Run For Ede's are respected. The selection is still perhaps open to improvement and he will need to in order to defy a 3lb rise for finishing runner-up at York last time. The form of that contest looks rock solid, however, and the stable remains in good form, so with ground to suit he is the suggestion. Dakiyah acts on good ground or softer and was a 12f Polytrack winner last time at Kempton. A 3lb rise for that does not look harsh and she holds her form consistently well so can be relied upon to get heavily involved. The mare Run For Ede's acts on the ground and won over this trip when tried for the first time at Windsor in April. She was found out last time from today's mark of 70 but now returns to the longer trip and she may still be capable of going close. Overturn was slightly unlucky at Lingfield last time out and now tries this longer trip. He appears to prefer faster ground, but should be okay on good, though pedigree suggests that stamina may be an issue. Relative Strength is slipping back down towards a winning mark and is not discounted, but preference is for Gifted Leader.
