    Verdict

Jeff Koons was a fair fourth behind older horses at York on his handicap debut and is still unexposed. BLUEFLAGFLYINGHIGH hasn’t done a lot wrong since getting off the mark at Ripon back in June. He may get an uncontested lead in this small field and has his ground. Elegancia came good at Bath last month and has her first run in a handicap and that’s also the case with Botanical, who came up against an improver at Kempton after winning at Hamilton. Mantoog won easily on his handicap debut at Salisbury but the second let the form down there on Thursday and the third has also been well beaten since.
