Verdict
Embossed and Destinaite look to be the two leading protagonists here and we will take the former to come home in front for the Rest of the World team, with Spirit Of France and Lamh Eile others to consider. Embossed has only his third run here, but there was a lot to like about the way Richard Hannon's colt took a pretty good Sandown maiden last time, staying on well up the hill there, and that will stand him in good stead if there is a battle here. With more improvement likely, we take the son of Mark Of Esteem to lead them all home here. Destinaite should not be far away. Another Hannon runner in this contest, his three length second to Shamardal in Group 2 company at Goodwood last time marks him out as a leading player here and if he handles the ground any better than he did at Newmarket earlier in the season then he must go close. Spirit Of France steps up to seven furlongs for the first time here but shapes as if he will get the trip. In fact, the extra time to get involved here will help and if he maintains the consistency he has shown so far then there is every reason to think that he will be involved. Of the others Lamh Eile is interesting, stepping up into this company for the first time. She has won two lesser races in good style, and although she is not likely to be the winner at these weights, she may make the frame. Even so, we take Embossed to land the prize.
