With a 28% strike rate in recent seasons in Bumpers Paul Nicholls should add to that record here with his CUT THE LUGSREILLY given our confidence in front of the progressive Pyracantha and last time out winner Carters Rest. The Sir Alex Ferguson part-owned selection ran a very promising debut when just missing out to a subsequent winner. He should improve for the education and the overall form from that run looks solid enough. Pyracantha mildly improved from first run to second but will have to continue on that upward curve to go one better this time. Carter's Rest found massive improvement when returning from a lengthy absence to win one of these last time. He's back after another break but has a bit to find now under a penalty. Don McCain's point winner Tara Royal looks an interesting runner and makes the shortlist but after that nice debut Cut The Lugsreilly gets our vote.
