A cracking renewal which features the first three and the fifth from the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot in December. PAISLEY PARK produced a typical late burst to mow down Thyme Hill on that occasion with the classy mare Roksana only beaten a couple of lengths at the line. Emma Lavelle’s nine-year-old failed to regain his Stayers’ Hurdle crown at Cheltenham last month but probably still ran up to form and he has won around here in the past. A slight setback ruled Thyme Hill out of Cheltenham but he must be back in rude health to be lining up here and he’s a big threat while Roksana found 2m4f too short in the Mares’ Hurdle at The Festival and should confirm that form with Indefatigable. Vinndication and If The Cap Fits looks held on the form book while Lisnagar Oscar’s defence of his Stayers’ Hurdle crown was ended by a fall. Diol Ker could be interesting as he was a bit unlucky not to win a Grade 2 when tried over 3m at Gowran in January.
