In depth

Verdict

A winner between the flags, ELY BROWN readily outpointed his rivals over this trip on his hurdling debut at Worcester last month. He should have plenty more to offer and can give weight to some exposed rivals. Be My Deputy has been well beaten in both starts since finishing third over a shorter trip at Market Rasen in November, while Crop Walker is now an nine-year-old and still seeking his first success under Rules. He again looked very one-paced when runner-up over fences at Sedgefield last month.
