Tom Scudamore plans to be back in action before the start of the Crabbie's Grand National meeting next Thursday after being sidelined since suffering a fall at Uttoxeter on March 19.
Scudamore has been riding out at David Pipe's stable this week and is looking forward to being reunited with his two Cheltenham Festival winners - Colin Tizzard's Ryanair World Hurdle hero Thistlecrack and the Pipe-trained Un Temps Pour Tout, who lifted the Ultima Handicap Chase.
The jump jockey was battered and bruised when taking a heavy fall from Abracadabra Sivola in a three-mile novice handicap chase at the Staffordshire track.
"I've been back riding out at David's this week. I hope to ride next week before Aintree and hope to be back on Tuesday or Thursday, all being well," said Scudamore.
"I feel refreshed and I can't wait to get back.

"I just had some bad bruising. I took a few bangs and just took a little bit longer to get over it. I'm all OK again now."
Looking ahead to Aintree, he added: "I think Thistlecrack and Un Temps Pour Tout both go to Aintree. They are two fantastic ones to look forward to.
"David's got a few entries in the National, so we'll see what I ride nearer the time. Everything's OK and I'm just looking forward to getting back."
