Owner Craig Bennett feels Second Step will relish the track at Woodbine when he travels over to North America for the Pattison Canadian International on October 18.
Bennett has already tasted Group One success with the Luca Cumani-trained four-year-old in the Grosser Preis von Berlin at Hoppegarten last month and continues to have big plans for the son of Dalakhani, including next year's Investec Coronation Cup at Epsom.
"He's working well, Luca's happy with him and he's going for the Canadian International at Woodbine," Bennett told At The Races.
"Woodbine suits him. It's a four-furlong straight. Courses like the Curragh and Newmarket suit him well.
"He winds up and winds up which is why we didn't go for the Hardwicke with him. Ascot's short straight isn't going to suit him, but Woodbine should suit perfectly.
"He's won a Group One, he's won a Group Two - let's see if we can bag another one.
"He's been to Germany and we flew him to Ireland, so he's used to flying. He's getting his air miles.
"That will be it for the year, then next year the race I've got in mind, as I've said to Luca, is the Coronation Cup. I'd love to go to Epsom on Derby Day, but let's get this season out of the way first."
