Injured jockey Martin Dwyer frustrated over delay

Martin Dwyer will have to wait another two weeks before finding out how long it will take his collar bone to heal following a fall in Prague on Saturday.
The Derby-winning jockey was injured when his final mount in an international jockeys' invitational event took a tumble after putting his foot in a hole.
Ligaments have been damaged and Dwyer has been advised by a specialist to rest his shoulder to see if can heal itself naturally.
"I'm still a little bit in the dark, but I've got to go back and see a specialist in two weeks," he said.
"I've been advised to rest it and have it assessed again. I want to see if I can avoid an operation and see if it settles down and repairs itself a bit. The ligaments are completely torn away from the joint so we'll have to see if it repairs itself.
"It's my collar bone where it joins the sternum. It's not the shoulder end. It keeps coming in and out.
"I don't know if it needs operating on or not. I'll give it a couple of weeks and see how it settles down and take it from there.
"I saw someone at the Ridgeway on Wednesday and am going back to see a specialist in a couple of weeks. I'll know more then.
"It could have been worse. They didn't say we need to operate immediately. They are giving it time to see how it reacts."
Recalling the fall, Dwyer said: "The horse put his foot in a hole and just went down beneath me. I'd ridden there years ago, but it was bad ground. There was nothing I could do."
