Tim Clark overcomes Jim Furyk and the rain to win the RBC Canadian Open by one shot

Tim Clark carded a 65 on a rain-hit final day to win the RBC Canadian Open at Royal Montreal Golf Club.
South African Clark recovered from a bogey at his opening hole to card six birdies, five of which came on the back nine, as he finished up on 17 under, one clear of his nearest rival, Jim Furyk.
Furyk himself signed for a 69 but his one-under score wasn’t enough for him to win the tournament for a third time in his career – it also means he remains without a title since his 2010 Tour Championship triumph.
The American had led by three heading into Sunday but has now failed to convert his last seven 54-hole leads into victories.
Furyk had balanced a bogey at the fourth with a birdie at seven before then making nine straight pars. He matched Clark's birdie at the par-three 17th to head to the last one adrift, then missed a 12-footer on the final green to force a playoff.

"It looked like Jim wasn't going to make any mistakes," said Clark, who had moved into contention on Saturday with a 64.
"He was pretty solid, so I knew I had to make birdies. At that point, there was nothing to lose. Suddenly I got hot and I went with it."
