FC Twente returned to winning ways after successive defeats with a 1-0 win in the Eredivisie over Heracles on Friday.
Twente had been beaten by AZ and Vitesse since stunning mighty Ajax last month, but the Enschede outfit returned to winning ways thanks to Friday's triumph over Heracles in front of over 28,000 fans at De Grolsch Veste.
Danish defender Joachim Andersen struck what would prove to be the winner just 10 minutes in when he rose to meet a right-wing cross and guided a header back across visiting keeper Bram Castro and into the net.
The win sees Twente move up to seventh in the table ahead of the weekend's action while Heracles remain in 11th.
Leaders Feyenoord are in action on Saturday when they host Willem II, live on Sky Sports 5, while Ajax and PSV Eindhoven both player on Sunday.
Second-placed Ajax travel to Utrecht before PSV host Heerenveen in a battle of third against fourth (both live on Sky Sports 5).
