Arturo Vidal's penalty deep into stoppage time kept Chile on course to defend their Copa America title with a 2-1 win over Bolivia in Foxborough.
The goal came eight minutes into stoppage time and was Vidal's second of the game to enable them to remain on track for a quarter-final berth ahead of their final group game against Panama.
Jhasmani Campos' superb free-kick had levelled for Bolivia but they face elimination after a second defeat in as many games in Group D.
Bolivia defender Edward Zenteno cleared Alexis Sanchez' first-half effort off the line before La Roja went ahead just 30 seconds after the restart.
Vidal played Mauricio Pinilla in down the left and as he surged into the penalty area he cut the ball back to Vidal to rifle home a right-footed strike.
But Bolivia were level in the 61st when substitute Campos was brought down and he picked himself up to curl a fantastic left-footed effort into the net.
Carlos Lampe then kept Bolivia on level terms with fine saves to deny Sanchez and Eduardo Vargas before Chile were awarded a penalty in time added on.
Sanchez' cross struck the arm of defender Luis Gutierrez and assistant referee Peter Manikowski flagged for a spot kick. Vidal duly stepped up to score and earn Chile their first win of the tournament.
