Brazil crashed out of the Copa America after losing 2-0 in a penalty shoot-out to Paraguay.
After the game ended 0-0 at the end of extra-time, Brazil missed all four of their penalties to lose their grip on the trophy.
Brazil dominated the game but could not find a way past an inspired Paraguay goalkeeper Justo Villar and his defence.
In extra-time both teams were reduced to ten men when Paraguay defender Antolin Alcaraz and Brazil midfielder Lucas Leiva were both sent off following a scuffle involving several players.
In the shoot-out Marcelo Estigarribia and Christian Riveros converted for the Paraguayans while Elano, Thiago Silva, Andre Santos and Fred all missed for Brazil to see them follow Argentina in missing out on the semi-finals.
