Sourav Ganguly and Shane Warne have both been fined 10 percent of their match fee following Thursday's Indian Premier League fixture in Jaipur.
Warne, captain of the Rajasthan Royals, was unhappy with his Kolkata Knight Riders counterpart Ganguly for taking too long to come out to bat.
The Australian also took exception to Ganguly's refusal to accept the word of Royals fielder Graeme Smith over a diving catch in the deep. Ganguly stood his ground and the third umpire ruled Smith's catch had not carried.
The pair were punished under section 1.3 of the ICC's code of conduct. Umpire Pratap Kumar has also been penalised in the form of a one-match suspension for referring the Smith catch adjudication to the third umpire.

Warne voiced his grievances to the press after the match, which
his side won by 45 runs, terming the Indian opener's act as 'disappointing' and accusing him of 'going on his own time' and undermining the 'spirit of cricket' agreement signed by all the IPL captains.
That prompted Ganguly to respond on Friday by telling
CNN-IBN: "Look who's talking! Take a look at his career and the incidents he has got into."
In addition to losing part of his match fee, Ganguly has also been warned as to his future conduct by match referee Farokh Engineer.
IPL commissioner and chairman Lalit Modi said in a statement: "It has been informed by Farokh Engineer, the referee in the IPL game between Kolkata and Jaipur in Jaipur on May 1, that he has issued an official reprimand to Sourav Ganguly and fined him 10 percent of his match fee for showing dissent on the field.
"Ganguly's act of prevailing upon the on-field umpire to refer a decision to the TV umpire constitutes a Level 1 offence as per the ICC's Code of Conduct.
"The referee has also suspended Pratap Kumar for one match, on the grounds that there was no reason for him to accede to Ganguly's request to consult the TV umpire."
