Sri Lanka have selected left-arm seamer Isuru Udana in their 15-man squad for the one-day series against India on home soil.
Fernando, Pradeep and Weerakoon all dropped by hosts
Sri Lanka have included seamer Isuru Udana in their 15-man squad for the upcoming one-day series against India.
Left-armer Udana has yet to be capped by his country in the 50-over format but has played in six Twenty20 internationals, taking five wickets in those appearances.
The 24-year-old is joined in the party by recalled batsman Chamara Kapugedera, who last played for Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup in March.
Fast bowlers Dilhara Fernando and Nuwan Pradeep and spinner Sajeewa Weerakoon have all been dropped, the latter making way for the return of fellow slow bowler Rangana Herath.
The five-match series kicks off on July 21 at Hambantota, which also stages the second contest three days later. The teams then move on to Colombo for the next two before concluding matters in Pallakele on August 4.
Sri Lanka and India will also face each other in a one-off Twenty20 fixture on August 7.
