England all-rounder Ben Stokes is fit to bowl in England's ICC Champions Trophy opener against Bangladesh.
Stokes had been struggling with a knee injury and was forced to sit out England's final one-day international against South Africa on Monday.
The Durham all-rounder came through a late fitness test and Sky sources understand he should be able to bowl his full quota of 10 overs against Bangladesh.
England captain Eoin Morgan told reporters on Wednesday that Stokes had bowled a little in the nets on but said he was unsure of how many overs the 25-year-old would be able to get through against The Tigers.
Stokes made a century in the second ODI against South Africa but was restricted to bowling just three overs after the left knee he injured during the Imdian Premier League flared up once again.
