Lancashire batsman Haseeb Hameed has become the first player to score a century in both innings of a Roses Match against Yorkshire.

Haseeb Hameed made history by becoming the first Lancashire batsman score centuries in both innings of a Roses match as their Specsavers County Championship clash with Yorkshire ended in a draw on day four.

Hameed followed up his first innings 114 with an unbeaten 100 in the second as Lancashire declared on 232-3, setting Yorkshire 367 to win..

With little time left though on day four, Yorkshire had comfortably cruised to 188-0, with Alex Lees (114no) hitting a hundred of his own, when the draw was called - Lancashire earning 11 points to Yorkshire's 10.

Nottinghamshire suffered a horrible collapse of seven wickets for 46 runs to gift Hampshire a 176-run win at Trent Bridge.

Steven Mullaney (137) held up the visitors' quest for victory with a magnificent hundred, putting on 162 for the fourth wicket with Brendan Taylor (58).

But the wheels fell off when Brad Wheal (6-51) removed Mullaney for the second of his six wickets as he and Mason Crane (3-95) ran through the lower order.

The 22 points Hampshire gain for a win lifts them off the bottom of the table, with Notts taking their place, but it's not enough to see them safely out of the relegation places.

Seamers Mark Footitt (2-17) and Stuart Meaker (2-44) took two apiece, while spinners Gareth Batty (2-27) and Zafar Ansari (1-18) enhanced their claims for selection on England's winter tour of the sub-continent.
