England have wrapped up victory in their ODI series against Sri Lanka with a game to play after Jason Roy powered them to a six-wicket win in the fourth match at The Oval.
Roy's third ODI ton - a career-best 162 - helped the hosts ease to their revised target of 308 in a rain-affected encounter in south London and take an unassailable 2-0 lead.
The innings was Roy's second standout knock within a week, after he and Alex Hales - who picked up a back spasm at The Oval and was unable to open the batting - had pummelled an England record stand of 256 in the thumping 10-wicket triumph at Edgbaston on Friday.
Two defeats, a thrilling tied-tussle at Trent Bridge and a washout in Bristol mean Sri Lanka will be playing for nothing but pride in the fifth and final ODI in Cardiff on Saturday.
