Angus Porter is to leave his post as chief executive of the Professional Cricketers' Association.
Porter, who has held the role since March 2010, has decided it is the right time for him to depart the role.
A statement on the players' union website read: "After five-and-a-half years of outstanding leadership as chief executive of the PCA, Angus has let us know that he feels it is time for him to move on.
"While we are very sad to see him leave, we are extremely grateful for the exceptional management, guidance and commitment he has given during his time with us."
