Jockey Liam Jones faces at least six weeks on the sidelines after breaking his collarbone in a fall at Leicester on Tuesday.
Jones was injured when he pulled up his mount Charlton Heights, who had suffered an injury during the Whissendine Selling Stakes over seven furlongs.
"He's going to be out for six to eight weeks unfortunately," said his agent, Paul Clarke.
"These things happen. He went from the track to hospital and was discharged around 7pm last night, but they've told him to expect to be laid off for that amount of time.
"It was a horse he'd ridden before for Stan Moore. It could have been worse. He's feeling a bit sore today, but otherwise he's all right."
