In depth

Verdict

Puppet Warrior often struggled for pace over hurdles but could be a different proposition over fences and goes on the short-list. WANDRIN STAR was second to a subsequent winner at Kempton last month. He’s already had five runs over fences but would be the one to beat with a repeat effort ahead of Ckalco Des Loges, who is even more exposed. One Of Us doesn’t have many miles on the clock and could figure if ready after a short break while Heluvagood won over timber as recently as March and is from a yard in good form at present. Zanstra hasn’t won in more than two years but keeps offering hope that he could end that run at any time.
