In depth

Verdict

Sterling Knight is improving with experience and so is Gaius with both holding place claims again. LA PULGA probably didn’t beat much here three weeks ago but did it impressively and there is likely plenty more to come from Roger Charlton’s colt, who has the edge in experience over Frankie’s mount Dukedom, who is by Dubawi out of a mare that finished second in the French 1000 Guineas. Sonny Liston is a full brother to the useful miler Banksea and half-brother to three other winners so is worth a market check but Oh Great would benefit from a step up in trip.
