Verdict

A runner-up in all three outings so far including Sandown last time, FRENCHY DU LARGE hasn’t done anything wrong and deserves to get his head in front. Venetia Williams’ grey is preferred to Jetaway Joey, no match for the winner at Market Rasen on his debut but expected to improve. Lightning Gold went close at Uttoxeter only to disappoint at Newbury last month while Bannixtown Boy has placed between the flags and debuts under Rules. Itsnotwhatyouthink is out of a winner over hurdles and a newcomer to note.
