        Verdict

        Altra Vita rattled up a hat-trick in early summer but has had a break since beaten over 2m at Beverley in July and is tried in cheekpieces on her return. Brexitmeansbrexit would be a topical winner but her victory in a maiden handicap at Brighton was over 1m2f so stamina will have to be taken on trust. There are no doubts on that score regarding IMPULSIVE AMERICAN as he won over 2m1f on his last appearance on the Flat. Second over 3m over hurdles in June, he looks a cut above these rivals and can defy top weight. Sky Marshal was second over 2m at Chepstow last month but is yet to win on Turf, though has won three times on the all-weather. Newbury second With Pleasure is still 4lb higher than when winning at Bath last season.
