Taste The Wine is often thereabouts in races like this but is an infrequent winner. The ground is possibly a shade too quick for Karl Marx but he is a course and distance winner and it would be no surprise to see some improvement from Rest Easy on his handicap debut. BILLY MY BOY was only beaten a length by the fast-improving The Way You Dance at Worcester last time and could shrug off a 2lb rise if first-time blinkers have the desired effect. Zarliman ran his best race so far over timber at Plumpton last time but is 5lb higher now.
