Daniel Bryan will face The Miz on three dates of WWE's tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland next month.
It has been confirmed the pair will go head to head at the live events in Liverpool, Newcastle and Sheffield on May 16, 17 and 18.
It had been speculated that the long-running feud between the two would be rekindled after The Miz moved to SmackDown as part of the Superstar Shake-up this week and with Bryan having recently received medical clearance to return to in-ring competition.
Non-televised WWE events are often used a testing grounds for match combinations further down the line.
On the November tour of the United Kingdom, the SmackDown crew put AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura - along with Jinder Mahal - in matches at the top of the card to increase the anticipation of a contest between the two.
WWE will record both of their weekly live television shows, Raw and SmackDown, live at the O2 Arena in London during the tour, which also includes dates in Bournemouth, Birmingham, Belfast and Dublin.
