Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan are the new Raw tag team champions after beating Sheamus and Cesaro on Christmas Day.

The match was made by Kurt Angle after Rollins and Jordan had requested matches against Samoa Joe, who was booked to face Roman Reigns for his Intercontinental title elsewhere on the card.

While Rollins and Sheamus were battling outside the ring, Jordan hit a neckbreaker on Cesaro and covered the Swiss Cyborg for the three-count and the titles.

The victory means Jordan becomes a dual brand tag champion - having held the SmackDown belts alongside Chad Gable as American Alpha earlier this year - and takes' Rollins title reigns to four, having previously been a champion with Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

Reigns loses control against Joe

Samoa Joe's rough-house style brought out an extra level of aggression in Reigns, whose latest Intercontinental title defence very quickly became a physical war.

Joe won the match when Reigns was disqualified for shoving the referee, but of course, the title does not change hands under such a decision.

The Big Dog, however, did not seem interested in the match outcome, and continued his assault of Joe, attacking him with the steel steps but - perhaps fortunately - missing with a wild chair shot.

With Alexa Bliss in the ring and discussing the confidence she has in facing the winner of the match, Asuka arrived to a huge ovation and announced she is very much ready to Rumble.

To further quell any doubts, she then laid out the Raw women's champion with a brutal kick.
