WWE Superstar Rusev will be out of action for three to four weeks after picking up an arm injury.

The Bulgarian sustained a proximal bicep tendon rupture during his match with Neville at the WWE Main Event tapings in Arizona on Tuesday night.

The bout was immediately called off and awarded to Neville via medical injury but Rusev could be back in action in time for the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 22.

Brie Bella and Stardust were also victorious on Main Event, hometown favourite Bella beating Becky Lynch and Stardust knocking off Zack Ryder.

“I’ve been in this for 32 years and I worked a solid full-time schedule for 26 years. So if I don’t do anything else, I’m quite happy with that.”

Meanwhile, in other injury news, NXT General Manager William Regal has undergone neck surgery and will be unable to wrestle at the NXT TakeOver event in London on December 16.

The Blackpool-born grappler has made infrequent appearances between the ropes of late and admits he could have competed in his last match.

"I'm not one of those people desperate to get in the ring again," Regal told WWE.com. "I've been in this for 32 years and I worked a solid full-time schedule for 26 years.

"Most people don't get anywhere close to that, especially with the physical style I did. So if I don't do anything else, I'm quite happy with that. There's no problem with that, to me."
