Friday 23 January 2015 13:41, UK
Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella is convinced Juan Cuadrado will remain at the club, despite apparent interest from Chelsea in the Colombia winger.
The Blues are in talks to sign Cuadrado, according to Sky sources, although it is understood no formal offer has been made by the Premier League leaders.
Cuadrado initially joined the Viola on a season-long loan from Udinese in 2012 and impressed sufficiently to earn a permanent move the following summer.
Since arriving in Florence, he has scored 21 goals in 82 appearances for the Serie A club and Montella is convinced he will remain with them.
“I believe as of today there are no possibilities he will leave Fiorentina," he said. "He knows this, he knows that these situations get exaggerated.
