Novak Djokovic thrashed Simone Bolelli 6-1 6-1 at the China Open

Novak Djokovic breezed through his first match at the China Open against Simone Bolelli.

The top seed cruised into the second round in Beijing, losing just two games in the process as he dominated his Italian opponent 6-1 6-1.

Djokovic, the reigning champion, faced break point in the second set against the world No 59 but survived by winning five games on the trot en route to a 72-minute victory.

Novak Djokovic decided to sign the camera in Chinese after beating Simone Bolelli in Beijing

The win improved his perfect record in the tournament to 25-0 and his winning streak now stretches back in 2009, when he won the first of his five titles - he did not play in 2011. 

He will next play Chinese wildcard Ze Zhang, the world No 219, who upset Denis Istomin in the first round.
