The Scarlets have made six changes to their starting XV for the Heineken Cup clash with Perpignan.
Morgan Stoddart, Rhys Priestland, Martin Roberts, Rhys Thomas, Rob McCusker and Vernon Cooper all come into the side following the loss to the Ospreys.
And head Coach Nigel Davies insists his team was ready for the challenge against the former Heineken Cup runners-up.
"We have built some momentum going into Europe, we had a big test last week and the boys put in a big performance, but we know that Perpignan are right up there and we've spent a lot of time looking at them," Davies told the club's official site.
"They've beaten Clermont and Toulouse, but Europe is all about pitting yourself against the best and that's what we are going to be doing on Saturday. That's where we want to be and we're ready for the challenge.
"This team is showing a lot of spirit, intensity and passion this season. They are working really hard. We want to make our home a very tough place to come and the team with the crowd behind them - are desperate to make that happen and turn things around from last season."
The Catalans will be without France centre Maxime Mermoz for the trip to Wales.
Mermoz misses out due to a shoulder injury, while Test prop Guilhem Guirado is also out after damaging his sternum.
South African centre Gavin Hume starts at fly-half, with youngster Florian Cazenave named at scrum-half.
