Keith Earls will make his long-awaited return to action in Munster's Heineken Cup clash with the Scarlets.
Earls has been sidelined since injuring his knee against Leinster at the start of November but he has been named as one of three changes to the Munster line-up.
Earls replaces Will Chambers, while Denis Leamy starts in place of the injured Peter O'Mahony (jaw) and lock Donncha O'Callaghan starts ahead of the benched Donnacha Ryan.
The Scarlets have recalled British and Irish Lions fly-half Stephen Jones for the return leg with the RaboDirect PRO12 champions.
The return of Jones sees Rhys Priestland moving to full-back in place of Daniel Newton.
The other changes come in the pack, with starts for Rob McCusker, Lou Reed and Rhodri Jones.
