The Irish province scored four tries in all to secure the bonus point and bounce back in style from last week's rare home defeat to the Scarlets when they were shorn of their internationals.
Glasgow stand-off Duncan Weir, returning after a two-month injury lay-off, opened the scoring with a fourth-minute penalty, which turned out to be the high point of the visitors' evening.
Munster were out of sight by half-time thanks South African flanker Stander's double supplemented by a try from his back-row colleague Tommy O'Donnell.
Ronan O'Gara converted all three and added a penalty for good measure to put Munster 24-3 in front.
A penalty try for Munster in the 74th minute, the only points of the second half, secured the bonus point and fly-half O'Gara converted to complete a personal haul of 11 points.
