Isa Nacewa turned from villain to hero as his late penalty snatched a 10-10 draw for Leinster in Glasgow.
The Fijian conceded a penalty try on 46 minutes and was sin-binned after a dangerous tackle of Pat MacArthur, gifting the hosts a 10-point lead.
However, a Heinke van der Merwe try got Leinster back in contention, and Nacewa redeemed himself by nailing a penalty nine minutes from the end to ensure a share of the spoils.
Glasgow were the last team to beat Leinster in the RaboDirect PRO12, and should have led inside 10 minutes, but they opted not to kick at goal from two penalty awards, both of which came to nothing.
Ian Madigan saw an attempt come back off the upright for the league leaders, who fell behind on 28 minutes when Ruaridh Jackson potted a penalty after a collapsed Leinster scrum.
Nacewa took over kicking duties from Madigan after the fly-half missed another attempt, but he was also off target towards the end of a scrappy first half.
Things got worse for Nacewa early in the second period when he conceded a penalty try and was yellow-carded.
But just as Glasgow appeared to have gained the initiative, Leinster hit back thanks to a try from prop Van der Merwe, Madigan converting.
Having returned from the sin-bin, Nacewa was restored to kicking duties, and it was his calmly-struck penalty effort 10 minutes from time that earned Leinster a share of the spoils.
